20 scholars, guests of the President of the State in the UAE

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat announced hosting about 20 scholars from different countries within the "President's Guests Program" during the month of Ramadan this year, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.

This hosting comes with the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, to participate in reviving the days and nights of the month of Ramadan with lectures, evenings and seminars within the state's programs for this month.

On the 2nd of Ramadan, the scholars, guests of the President of the State, delivered more than 27 lessons and lectures in mosques, councils, institutions and various media outlets, as part of their Ramadan program prepared by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, under the supervision of the Presidential Court.

The lecturers talked about the virtue of congregational prayer in mosques and how it enhances the bond between people, as prayer was prescribed in the mosque for people to gather, show affection, sympathy, and solidarity, and to show their unity.


The scholars called for commitment to good morals and to demonstrate the tolerant human values ​​that every fasting Muslim should be adorned with, and to demonstrate their effects among his family members and relatives through communication, compassion, and the elevation of virtues in all dealings, as all Muslims enter a state of tranquility, recitation, and peace, reaching the true fruit of the obligation of fasting through good piety and beautiful company.

The lectures were met with interest and appreciation from the attendees, who expressed their happiness with this annual honor that allows them to meet the honorable guest scholars, praising the leadership's keenness to please mosque-goers and the UAE community, including citizens and residents, and to consolidate virtues in society, among youth, women, and all segments of society.
