A housing package for citizens worth 7.7 billion dirhams

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, approved the disbursement of the third housing benefit package for the year 2024 to citizens in the emirate, with a total value of AED 7.72 billion, benefiting 5,374 citizens, both male and female. The third package included housing loans with a total value of more than AED 3.569 billion, benefiting 2,373 citizens, and the package included grants of residential lands and housing worth AED 3.670 billion, benefiting 2,540 citizens.

The package also included exemptions for senior citizens, retirees with limited income, and heirs of deceased persons from paying housing loan dues, with a value of AED 486 million, benefiting 461 citizens in the emirate.
With this package, the value of housing packages provided to citizens in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi during the year 2024 amounted to approximately AED 13.216 billion, benefiting 8,891 male and female citizens in various regions of the emirate, including exemption from paying housing loan dues for senior citizens, retirees with limited income, and heirs of deceased persons, with a value of AED 847.2 million, benefiting 805 citizens, and AED 8.361 billion in housing loans, benefiting 5,194 citizens, in addition to AED 4 billion in grants of ready lands and housing, benefiting 2,892 citizens.
This brings the total number of housing packages provided since the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority to more than 118,700 housing benefits, with a total value of approximately AED 162.1 billion.
The disbursement of the third package of housing benefits this year coincides with the celebration of the 53rd Union Day, which falls on December 2 of each year, and in continuation of the keenness of the wise leadership to enhance social stability and decent living standards for Emirati families.
