Technology and Saving Human Lives
Healthcare technology refers to any IT tools or software designed to increase hospital efficiency and administrative effectiveness, provide new insights into medications and treatments, or improve the overall quality of care provided.
Today’s healthcare technology industry is one of the largest in the world, worth an estimated $2 trillion. The industry is currently burdened by high costs, but it is looking for ways to improve in almost every area imaginable. This is where modern technology comes in. Technological tools are being integrated into every step of the healthcare experience to address two major issues: quality and efficiency.

The uses of technology in the healthcare industry seem endless. Technology is being implemented in everything from hospital administrative operations to cancer research and surgery in order to improve efficiency across the industry and make the patient experience as painless as possible.
The rapid development of technology has led to the emergence of dozens of amazing gadgets and devices that help make our lives easier, safer, and bring us conveniences we never knew before. Although most of the focus is on improvements in electronics such as phones and tablets, there are many gadgets and devices that can have a greater impact on a person’s life by protecting him in life-threatening emergencies, from early detection of cancer to detecting and reporting injuries and accidents.
