Dubai Charity announced that it has collected more than AED 4 million during the year from July 2021 until the end of July 2022 through the charity program "Zayed Al Khair", which continues its weekly broadcast on Radio Al Oula, in cooperation with the Dubai Charity Association and Beit Al Khair to collect donations for charitable, developmental and humanitarian projects inside and outside the country.
The projects varied between building mosques and digging wells, providing shelter for poor families and projects for productive families, in addition to providing the costs of treating medical cases inside the country, especially critical cases of patients whose treatment is not covered by health insurance, or those who need expensive medicine or mobility devices that exceed their financial capacity.

"Zayed Al Khair" presents the stories of patients, the cost of the treatment they need, and calls on charitable people to provide assistance to them and remind them of the reward of compassion, helping the distressed and alleviating the suffering of poor patients.

The programme, which airs every Thursday afternoon on frequency 107.4 from 4-6 pm, is receiving great interest. The programme’s team of social researchers combine their efforts to nominate needy cases, monitor communications and donations, and pay treatment fees for beneficiaries to the relevant hospitals and clinics.
