Dubai International Marine Club to Host Open Water Competitions

The Dubai International Marine Club has announced that it will host the Open Water Competitions as part of the Dubai International Aquatics Championships 2025.
Dubai will host the events, which include five water sports: diving, water polo, artistic swimming, open water, and swimming. The competitions will continue until the 21st of this month.

The Open Water Competitions will be held on Jumeirah Public Beach, near the Bulgari Resort and the Jumeirah Bay Bridge, on Saturday and Sunday.
The competitions will feature five races: 200m, 400m, 800m, 2.5km, and 5km, for various levels and categories, with the aim of providing everyone with the opportunity to participate and gain experience.
Mohammed Abdullah Hareb Al Falahi, Board Member and Executive Director of the Club, confirmed that the Club is harnessing all its capabilities and technical and logistical expertise to ensure the success of the competitions.
He explained that the club has organized numerous international and regional events in cooperation and partnership with the UAE Swimming Federation and local authorities and departments in Dubai, and emphasized its commitment to organizing numerous open water swimming competitions.
