Dubai to host Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2025

Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the largest and most important healthcare event in the Middle East

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, today inaugurated the 50th edition of the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the largest and most important healthcare event in the Middle East, with the participation of more than 3,800 exhibitors.

The event will continue at the Dubai World Trade Centre until Thursday, January 30.

His Highness praised the efforts of those in charge of preparing and organizing the Arab Health Exhibition over the past fifty years, during which it has become one of the most important global platforms concerned with designing the future of healthcare. His Highness stressed that the size of regional and global participation this year, including the biggest names specialized in this vital sector, is clear evidence of the position it has established over five decades as a major driving force for efforts to develop the health sector in the region and the world.

His Highness said, “The Arab Health Exhibition confirms Dubai’s role as a strategic driver for positive transformations that influence vital sectors, most notably the health sector. This event embodies Dubai’s long-term vision to build innovative and comprehensive health systems, based on strong international partnerships and platforms that bring together thought leaders and experts in this field.


There is no doubt that the continuity of the exhibition over five decades and its steady growth are evidence of Dubai’s position as a global center for anticipating the future of vital sectors and enhancing their sustainability, in line with the vision of the wise leadership and its keenness to always be at the forefront of cities capable of facing challenges, transforming them into opportunities for development and excellence, and creating the necessary solutions to improve the quality of human life.”

During a tour that included a number of international and local pavilions participating in the exhibition, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the participation of major international companies in the leading event, as His Highness was keen to stop at a number of pavilions to learn about the products, technologies and innovative solutions they offer, as His Highness stopped at the General Electric (GE) pavilion and the Canon pavilion and followed an explanation about the innovative solutions they offer in the field of diagnostics and healthcare.


His Highness visited the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s pavilion, where he was briefed on the ministry’s display of a package of transformative projects and innovative services that embody its vision of developing the health sector in a comprehensive and integrated manner, contributing to establishing a leading regional and global health system that supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. The tour also included the Dubai Health Authority’s pavilion, where His Highness listened to an explanation of the overall rapid positive transformations witnessed by the health sector in Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s tour of the exhibition also included the Dubai Healthcare City pavilion, where he was briefed on the city’s most prominent achievements and projects in providing the best medical services and healthcare, in addition to organising a number of important dialogue sessions as part of the Arab Health Exhibition.


His Highness also inspected the Emirates Health Services Corporation’s platform, where he was briefed on the corporation’s participation, which is showcasing 19 innovative services and projects, including 13 projects that the corporation is showcasing for the first time on its platform under the slogan “The Future of Health Now”. The Foundation is also dedicating a theme under the title “Family Health and Community Care” within its participation, presenting three innovative projects, two of which are being displayed for the first time at the regional and global levels, in close cooperation with its most important international partners.

His Highness said in a post on his account on the “X” platform: “With the participation of more than 3,800 exhibitors from 180 countries, we opened today the activities of the 50th edition of the “Arab Health Exhibition”, which is the largest regionally and one of the most important global exhibitions in the field of anticipating the future of the health sector.”


He added: “This event attracts about 60,000 visitors, and showcases the latest global technologies and innovations in the field of healthcare, starting from Dubai, and we look forward to enhancing the contribution of our local institutions and national companies in leaving positive imprints that contribute to improving human health around the world.”

His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Dubai was accompanied during his tour of Arab Health 2025 by Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention; Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai and Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority; Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority; and Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health.

The opening of the event, the most prominent of its kind in the region, was attended by a number of Arab health ministers, including Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Minister of Public Health of the State of Qatar; and Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain.


This year, Arab Health celebrates its 50th edition under the theme “Connecting the World of Healthcare”, welcoming more than 60,000 visitors. Since its launch in 1975 with the participation of more than 40 exhibitors, the exhibition has evolved into a globally recognized event. Initially focused on showcasing medical products, the exhibition has grown significantly, with the 50th edition being the largest in the history of the exhibition, with global exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations and technologies impacting healthcare.
