The Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects (Ruwad) announced the distribution of 4,074 Iftar meals to those fasting during Ramadan through its sixth annual Ramadan initiative, "From the Generosity of Our Entrepreneurs." The initiative, organized in cooperation with the Sharjah Charity International, took place throughout the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH. Six projects affiliated with the foundation, along with a group of philanthropists, participated.

Ameena Mohammed, Director of the Training, Research, and Events Department at the foundation, said that "Ruwad" is keen to organize this annual initiative with the participation of its members, particularly in the food sector, based on the importance of contributing to humanitarian work, especially in its charitable aspect during the month of Ramadan, and in a way that benefits all members of society.

This initiative expresses the values of cohesion, cooperation, and support among them. She noted that the initiative aligns with the institutional values of Ruwad and its members and reflects the directives of the wise leadership in supporting humanitarian work. The total number of participating projects since the initiative's launch in 2018 has risen to 39, while the total number of Ramadan meals distributed to fasting people has reached 53,310.
