Fujairah concludes the popular heritage festival "Tifan Lawal"

The activities of the fourth edition of the popular heritage festival "Tifan Lawal", organized by the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority over three days in the heritage village in Dibba Al Fujairah, concluded.

The festival presented many segments on its last day, most notably the idea of ​​"Beit Al Roo" and the allure of storytelling and telling "Al Khararif" in a tangible and tangible way.

The Fujairah Arts Academy organized a special workshop on the art of sculpture, in which a number of amateur festival goers participated, and the Diyar International Private Academy presented a show of Al Yola and "Eid Zaman Awal", and a number of heritage competitions for the public on the last day.

Local institutions concerned with popular heritage and owners of local heritage professions and crafts participated in it, amidst a large turnout of audiences from the people of Dibba Al Fujairah and neighboring areas.


The festival received the attention of many officials, most notably His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Emirates Federation for Bodybuilding and Fitness, who visited the festival.

He was received by Mr. Nasser Mohammed Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, Asmaa Al Dhanhani, Director of the Authority's Dibba Branch and General Supervisor of the Festival, and a number of directors of local departments and dignitaries in the city of Dibba and its suburbs.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi inspected the festival's pavilions, which include many shops and stores specializing in popular foods, Arabic coffee, weaving traditional folk clothes, and various popular games.


He also inspected the fishermen's corner, fishing supplies, and the marine environment, and stopped at the desert and mountain environment corners, the old lifestyle, and the necessities of daily life in these three environments.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Sharqi praised the festival and the efforts made by the Authority to consolidate the values ​​of popular heritage among generations, and to work in a practical and scientific manner to instill national identity in the souls and minds of young people.


Nasser Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Authority, said: The festival proved that the citizen family still adheres to its popular heritage and is proud of it, and perhaps the influx of this number of families to the event and the interest in all its details confirms this meaning. He pointed out that the Authority is concerned with rooting and consolidating popular culture in the souls of the youth through these courses and that it will offer other in-depth courses in this direction.
