Hamdan bin Mohammed directs to donate the value of the prizes won by the Ministry of Defence teams to charity

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has directed to donate the value of the prizes won by the Ministry of Defence teams for women and men during their participation in the "Dubai Games 2025" competitions to charity.

His Excellency Major General Khalifa Rashid Al Hamli, Director of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Defence, said: "The directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to allocate the value of the prizes won by the Ministry of Defence teams in the "Dubai Games 2025" to charity reflect His Highness's keenness to establish a culture of giving and dedicate the values of partnership and humanity and fulfill the national duty."

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Defence men's team won the title of the Government Challenge for Men category, while the Ministry's women's team won second place in the Government Challenge for Women category as part of the "Dubai Games 2025" competitions, which were held in Dubai Festival City during the period from February 20 to 23.
This initiative provides support for charitable works that make a tangible positive change in people’s lives and is an inspiring incentive to promote the values of social responsibility and direct efforts towards serving the nation and citizens in the UAE.
