Hamdan bin Mohammed: Dubai is the world's leading destination for attracting new foreign direct investment projects

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, announced that Dubai is the world's leading destination for attracting new foreign direct investment projects.

His Highness said via his account on the X platform: "For the fourth year in a row, Dubai is the world's top destination for attracting new foreign direct investment projects, according to data from the Financial Times - fDi Markets.

His Highness added: During 2024, the emirate attracted 1,117 new foreign investment projects worth more than AED 52 billion, representing a 33% increase compared to 2023. Dubai also witnessed the announcement of 1,826 foreign direct investment projects, an 11% increase compared to 2023.

His Highness continued: These exceptional results are the fruit of the strategic and forward-looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and we are determined to push our development path to new horizons of leadership and innovation to achieve all the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
