His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid meets with the Board of Directors of the Young Arab Leaders

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, met with the members of the Board of Directors of the Young Arab Leaders during their first meeting at the Museum of the Future to discuss work plans and initiatives that will be worked on during the coming period.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed the importance of the role of the Young Arab Leaders in supporting promising Arab skills and talents to contribute more to designing the future of Arab societies, and providing an opportunity for Arab energies to contribute to achieving future aspirations.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “We launched this initiative nearly two decades ago to provide Arab youth with a platform that enables them to share their ideas on a wider scale and work with a select group of young leaders from across the region within this initiative in its new form under the supervision of Hamdan bin Mohammed to support everyone who dreams of being a positive contributor to the journey of building the future that our Arab societies aspire to.”

His Highness added: "200 million young people in our Arab region are our hope for the future we aspire to... and we have great faith in the determination and persistence of these capabilities and their key role in supporting the path of economic and social development and technological progress."
His Highness stressed that the invitation is open to all Arab talents and energies wishing to join this largest network of its kind in the Arab region to work on qualitative initiatives and projects that will remain the nucleus for achieving new accomplishments based on the determination and resolve of Arab youth.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also directed during the meeting to organize the largest gathering of young Arab leaders at the "World Government Summit" in Dubai next February to develop a group of initiatives and projects with the contribution of Arab youth to continue to advance the Arab region and build its promising future.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “This gathering will be a key milestone in activating the objectives of the Young Arab Leaders initiative and launching a new phase that will be shaped by ambitious Arab youth who believe in their ability to make the positive impact required for the future of our Arab societies… We in Dubai and the UAE welcome all young Arab leaders and will support these promising energies on their journey towards the future.”

Future Goals
This initiative aims to attract 50,000 participants in the coming period, and develop and implement many future projects and inspiring ideas with Arab youth. This will be achieved by forming an influential network of businessmen and exceptional leaders in their fields to support, assist and guide Arab youth, and benefit from the capabilities and expertise of members of the regional Young Arab Leaders network to motivate and empower tomorrow’s young Arab leaders.

Young Energies
It is worth noting that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, recently approved the formation of the Board of Directors of the "Young Arab Leaders" headed by His Excellency Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, with the membership of Sheikh Abdullah Al Khalifa from the Kingdom of Bahrain, Tamam Mango from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Fahad Al Ghanim from the State of Kuwait, Aissata Lam from Mauritania, Ibrahim Al Mohtaseb from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mona Ataya from Palestine, Basil Al Baz from Egypt, Yazan Al Tamimi from Iraq, Nasser Al Khater from Qatar, Sami Daoud from the Sultanate of Oman, and Fatima Rashid Bujsaim, Secretary-General of the Young Arab Leaders.
