His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan explained that the implementation of a package of health, educational, environmental, agricultural and economic programmes in various continents of the world will be carried out through various entities affiliated with the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, and in strategic partnership with many related institutions around the world, in a way that contributes to meeting the needs of beneficiary communities and enhances their capabilities to face various challenges.

The meeting discussed the new strategy of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, which includes 14 entities specialised in various humanitarian, charitable and developmental fields, especially the sectors of educational services, healthcare, environmental and agricultural sustainability, livestock, wildlife, and living organisms.


The meeting touched on developing institutional work and current strategic and operational plans, according to the new unified vision, to achieve the Foundation's strategy and targeted priorities consistent with the requirements of the future stage, with a focus on innovation, initiative, shared services, financial sustainability, communication, strategic partnerships and developing institutional capabilities, through specialised training programmes.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Founder’s Office; His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Empowerment; His Excellency Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Advisor to the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs; Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of the Emirates International Aid Agency; and Saeed Rashid Al Zaabi, Advisor to the Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs’ Families.
