Launch of the activities of the “Healthcare Model 2025” Forum in Riyadh

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Holding Company, Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, Assistant Minister of Health Dr. Muhammad bin Khalid Al-Abdali inaugurated the Health Care Model 2025 Forum, which is being held in its second edition in Riyadh under the title “Care and Impact”.

The activities of the scientific program of the forum were launched, with the participation of more than 25 local and international speakers, 80 exhibitors, and the attendance of more than 1,500 health cadres from all cities and regions of the Kingdom.
Dr. Al-Abdali stressed in his opening speech that the modern health care model in the Kingdom, with its systems and paths, has achieved qualitative achievements through 20 health clusters that provide integrated and sustainable health care according to the latest health practices with international and innovative standards.

He said: “The health care model is taking confident and clear steps through health clusters to extend beyond that to be received by government health service providers along with the private sector and all health system entities.”
He pointed out that the diversity of systems and paths within the modern healthcare model helped in providing better health services, to enhance the culture of preventive health, noting that the forum will witness the participation of health systems in the experiences and technologies that have been implemented within the Kingdom through the application of the modern healthcare model to be emulated and benefited from by all parties inside and outside the Kingdom.

He explained that the health system in the Kingdom applies the best integrated model, and it can be benefited from for the great impact it provides on the life of the individual in society, by adopting a change in the behavior of the current health pattern of the individual based on the principle of health first, by detecting diseases early, facilitating access to services, and providing sustainable and integrated services without any defect or interruption.

He stressed by saying, "Our wise leadership is inspiring and enabling for us, and therefore we have no excuse to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030," welcoming at the end of his speech all attendees and speakers from outside the Kingdom to view and watch the success stories that have been achieved within the Kingdom within the care model implemented by the 20 health clusters.
The forum will review on its first day the journey of health transformation through the modern healthcare model since 2017 until today in light of the radical transformations it has witnessed during the past period within the largest health transformation story witnessed by the world, as well as the global and local perspective of the healthcare model, effective leadership to enhance the transformation to integrated care, the importance of prevention and its role in healthcare to enhance the quality of life, personal care through the use of artificial intelligence and big data, and empowering the healthcare workforce.

The forum will focus within the sessions of the second day on the concept of implementing integrated care, the pivotal role of primary care, population health management within the healthcare model, enhancing value through the healthcare model, the art of managing chronic diseases, digital health and its role in enabling the healthcare model, the future of implementing the model, the future outlook on healthcare in the Kingdom and innovative solutions that achieve the aspirations of beneficiaries, and facilitate the patient experience to benefit from healthcare.
