Ethics Ethics in the language is a collective noun, and its singular is morality, and it refers to the set of psychological characteristics of a person and his actions that are described as good or bad. As for morality in terminology, it is an inclination or habit of will that always prevails over a person until it becomes a habit of his habits. Morality is also expressed as: the firm strength in the will that makes a person choose what is good and righteous if the morality is noble and praiseworthy and makes him choose evil and corruption if the morality is bad and ugly. Virtue refers to the high degree of merit and morality and is divided into two parts; either it is human or divine.

Human virtue: is that which is based on human feelings, such as tenderness in nature, honor in the soul, the desire for righteousness and aversion to evil, and divine virtue is the virtue based on spiritual feelings, which are intended to attain the pleasure of God Almighty, and virtue in Islam combines human and divine virtue, as the Muslim loves good and kindness to people, and hates evil for them, and does not harm any of them, and all of this is seeking and striving to attain the pleasure of God Almighty, so Islamic morals are given to the habit of a person to respond to Islamic virtues, during his dealings with various creatures; following the divine approach, and striving to obtain the pleasure of God Almighty.
Morals Urged by Islam
Islam urged Muslims to adopt many noble and virtuous morals, and the following is a statement of some of them:
The morality of trustworthiness:

Islam urged trustworthiness, which is the duty that man carried when the heavens, the earth, and the mountains refused to carry it, as God Almighty said: (Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man carried it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant), and trustworthiness is given to what man does in fulfilling rights to their owners, while being keen to preserve them, and giving each person his right, as God Almighty praised his believing servants for preserving trustworthiness.

Allah the Almighty said: (And those who are to their trusts and covenants attentive), and trustworthiness is one of the morals that the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, represented and was famous for, and it is one of the signs and indications of faith, and trustworthiness is in many things, including; trustworthiness in worship, which is by adhering to the commands and legal obligations that God the Almighty has commanded, seeking to attain His pleasure, and trustworthiness is also in preserving the limbs, as the limbs and senses of a person are a trust with the person, so it is not acceptable for him to use them in what does not please God the Almighty, and trustworthiness is also in deposits, which is by preserving them and returning them to their owners, and trustworthiness in work by doing it in the most perfect way according to what pleases God the Almighty, and trustworthiness in speech by seeking its truthfulness and saying good and beautiful words; this is in the desire to attain the fruits that are achieved by adhering to trustworthiness, including; Attaining the love of Allah Almighty, and the love of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and spreading trust and cooperation among members of society, and achieving reassurance, comfort and tranquility among people, and people dealing with each other with ease and simplicity.
The morality of altruism:

It is the individual's giving priority to the needs of others over his own needs, despite his need for them, as God Almighty said: (And they give preference over themselves, even though they are in need), so altruism indicates the perfection of faith and the high morals that the individual adheres to, and it is the path to attaining the love of Allah Almighty, blessing and protection from stinginess and miserliness, and through altruism cooperation spreads among members of society, and material sufficiency is achieved for them, and likewise the perfection of faith is achieved in the soul, and leaving hatred, malice, envy and envy, and what motivates a person to be characterized by altruism; The desire to be endowed with the highest noble morals, hatred and loathing for stinginess and miserliness, accustoming oneself to enduring hardships and difficulties, and respecting the rights of others.
The morality of patience:

Patience is given to self-control, suppressing anger, avoiding anger, and meeting evil with good, without accepting humiliation and disgrace. Patience is an attribute of God Almighty; He is the Forbearing, as God Almighty said: (And know that God is Forgiving and Forbearing), and patience is one of the morals of the prophets, peace and blessings be upon them, as God Almighty said about Abraham, peace be upon him: (Indeed, Abraham was most compassionate and forbearing), and by adorning oneself with the morality of patience, the servant wins and attains the pleasure of God Almighty, and patience is one of the signs that indicate that the servant is able to control his emotions and the strength of his will, and patience is a means to overcome the devils, and it is a way to win enemies so that they become friends, and to gain people’s love and respect, and with the urging to adorn oneself with the morality of patience, anger may be praiseworthy in certain circumstances; This is represented by the anger that occurs when the sanctities of Allah are violated. The Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would not become angry unless the sanctities of Allah were violated. Patience is achieved in the servant through education and accustoming him to it and remembering the great reward for being adorned with it.
The morality of modesty:

Modesty is one of the greatest noble morals that Islam has urged, as the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: (Every religion has a morality, and the morality of Islam is modesty). Modesty is considered the basic motive that motivates doing good and avoiding evil in actions and words. It is worth noting that modesty is one of the attributes of Allah Almighty, as the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: (Indeed, Allah Almighty is Forbearing, Modest, and Concealer, and He loves modesty and concealment). Modesty is also one of the morals of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as he was the most modest of people.
