The Emirates Red Crescent and Fatima Academy Distribute More Than 23,000 Iftar Meals and 5,000 Fast-Breaking Bread

Under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, Chairwoman of the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club and Chairwoman of the Al Ain Ladies Club, the Emirates Red Crescent, in cooperation with the Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy, organized an initiative last night to distribute more than 23,000 Iftar meals and 5,000 fast-breaking bread at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.

This initiative, which reflects the authentic Emirati values of compassion and solidarity, is part of a series of events aimed at instilling a culture of giving and promoting social responsibility. This initiative coincides with the "Year of Community 2025," which seeks to support community initiatives and consolidate the values of cohesion and human solidarity in the country.

The initiative, titled "Bring Your Iftar Closer... To Us," was held in collaboration with Al Ain City Municipality, the Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate, the Fatima Bint Hazza Cultural Foundation, and Al Ain Special Group. It was attended by over 28,000 people, including UAE University students, representatives of various communities, and institutions and companies from across Al Ain. The event was held amid an organizational atmosphere that reflected effective cooperation and coordination among the participating entities.
