The second edition of the “Tahheim Winter Season” events in Jalan Bani Bu Hassan

We will launch next Wednesday the second edition of the Tahheim Winter Season in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Hassan in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and it will continue until Saturday, February 15. It aims to provide a renewed and distinctive experience through entertainment, cultural and social activities that suit different age groups, which enhances the Wilayat’s position as a distinctive tourist destination in the Sultanate of Oman.

Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Akaak, Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, said: The second edition of the Tahheim Winter events will include various activities, most notably the local market that supports productive families and owners of small projects, and the heritage village that highlights traditional crafts and folk arts.

The season also includes sports activities such as camel races, four-wheel drive challenges, and sports championships. On the cultural side, the season offers poetry evenings, theatrical performances, and exhibitions of fine arts and photography, in addition to a special corner for creativity and innovation to highlight the talents of young people.

He explained that the second edition of the Tahaim Winter Season represents a meeting point between heritage and development, and reflects the vision of the state in investing its natural and cultural resources to achieve sustainable development.

Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Akaak, Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, stressed that the event strengthens community ties and contributes to stimulating economic activity, making the state an ideal destination for visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.

“The second edition of the Tahaim Winter Season comes as a continuation of the success achieved by the first edition; with the aim of enhancing social and economic development in the state, and through this season we seek to highlight the rich cultural and environmental heritage of the state, support small projects and productive families, in addition to promoting the tourism and investment components enjoyed by Jalan Bani Bu Hassan.”
