A young employee at the Egyptian Opera House threw himself into the Nile, committing suicide, after leaving behind a message, addressed to one of his colleagues at work, which caused him severe psychological pressure, administrative and financial crises, which made him make the decision to end his life.

The text of the employee's message read: "A message from an oppressed person to his oppressor: You will see me in the disobedience of your children.. You will see me in the treachery of those around you.. You will see me in the abandonment of your friends.. You will see me in your prayers that are not answered.. You will see me in your shattered and unfulfilled dreams.. You will see me in your illness, weakness and failure.. And by God Almighty, I ask you to see me."
For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Ahmed Fouad Hano, ordered the formation of a committee with the aim of opening an urgent investigation into the death of the employee, after he left his message addressed to one of his colleagues at work.
