Under the patronage of Mansour bin Mohammed, an Iftar tent welcomes travelers through the Hatta Border Crossing

In a humanitarian initiative that reflects the spirit of giving and community cohesion during the holy month of Ramadan, and under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Council for Ports and Borders Security, an Iftar tent was set up at the Hatta Border Crossing to serve fasting travelers. His Highness directed that all necessary needs be provided to ensure the comfort of fasting travelers and meet their needs during their transit through the crossing.

The Iftar tent is equipped with all necessary supplies, providing full Iftar meals daily for those fasting through the port. A fully integrated team oversees the organization of services provided to travelers, truck drivers, and families crossing the port during Iftar time, ensuring privacy and a comfortable Ramadan atmosphere for travelers. This effort is carried out in partnership and cooperation with strategic partners: the Dubai Council for Ports and Borders Security, Dubai Customs, Dubai Police, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, and the Dubai Charity Association. The tent receives hundreds of fasting people daily throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
