Abdullah Al Hamed witnesses the closing of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona

His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, witnessed the closing of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, which was hosted by Barcelona from March 3 to 6.

The conference reviewed a number of topics, including exploring the latest developments and practical applications of fifth-generation networks, in addition to artificial intelligence solutions, and studying how institutions adapt to the requirements of the digital age.

His Excellency witnessed a number of sessions, including sessions focused on how fifth-generation (5G) applications are accelerating in sectors such as health, education and media, and others that revolved around the importance of digital infrastructure in supporting innovation and how the digital economy is developing in light of rapid technological transformations.
His Excellency the Chairman of the National Media Office also toured a number of participating platforms specializing in providing integrated ICT solutions and digital media, where he was briefed on a number of projects enabling digital transformation and enhancing communication, computing systems, data processing and digital security.
