Abu Dhabi Sports Council announces cyclists for <<UAE Tour 2025>>

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council revealed today, Tuesday, the details of the seventh edition of the <UAE Tour> 2025 for men, where the routes, jerseys, teams, and sponsors were announced, and these two races are the only two events in the Middle East on the International Cycling Union's agenda.

The <UAE Tour> for men will start from February 17 to 23, and consists of 7 stages starting from Al Dhafra and ending in Al Ain, including: Four fast stages.


The <UAE Tour> for men extends over a distance of 1013 km.


20 international teams are participating in the men's tour, reflecting the high level of competition in the championship.

The UAE Tour, which will be held from February 17 to 23, covering a distance of 1,013 km, will attract a group of the most prominent cyclists, led by the current world champion, Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, who leads the Emirates XRG team, and returns after a two-year absence from the UAE Tour, which he won in 2021 and 2022, and is the only cyclist to have won the UAE Tour twice.

There are prominent names on the list of teams participating in the 2025 UAE Tour, as a group of the most prominent international cyclists who will compete for victory in the speed stages.


The curtain fell on the activities of the third edition of the UAE Tour for women, which was held over four stages, with a total distance of 540 km, with the participation of 120 female competitors from 20 international and continental teams from the elite professional teams worldwide, held from February 6 to 9 over 4 stages, starting from Dubai and ending in Abu Dhabi.

Emirates Holding Team leader, Italian Elisa Longo Borghini, won the title of the third edition of the UAE Women's Tour 2025, the only global race in the Middle East, within the agenda of the International Cycling Union, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.


In the fourth and final stage (Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy Stage), which was held in Abu Dhabi, and started from the Academy's headquarters, passing through the most prominent landmarks of Abu Dhabi, reaching the finish line at the Abu Dhabi Corniche breakwater, Dutch Lorena Wiebes continued her brilliance and won the stage title, achieving victory in three stages out of four, as she covered the fourth stage distance of 128 km in a time of three hours, three minutes and 28 seconds.
