Ajman Youth Council launches 47 projects and initiatives

The Ajman Youth Council concluded its sixth session (2023-2025) after achieving a series of achievements that would enhance the role of youth in community development and consolidate the emirate's position as a supportive environment for creativity and active participation.

This session witnessed the launch of 47 projects and initiatives, covering various sectors such as entrepreneurship, innovation, and community awareness.
Ms. Moza Nasser Lootah, Chairwoman of the Ajman Youth Council, confirmed that the council ranked among the top 3 local councils in the country and won the Best Sustainable Initiative Award "Youth Lab 3", and council member Asma Salem Al Shamsi received the Best Distinguished Member Award among the members of local councils.
She added that the successes achieved during the sixth session pave the way for more innovation in supporting and empowering youth, with continued efforts to achieve the vision of the wise leadership in making Ajman an attractive environment for youth and talents.

Ms. Moza Nasser Lootah, Chairwoman of the Ajman Youth Council, stated that the Council aims to empower youth and enhance their role in society, within a strategic vision to build a promising generation capable of assuming responsibility and contributing to the development of the Emirate of Ajman and the UAE as a whole.
She explained that among the initiatives launched are the “Youth Lab 2024” which brought together young minds to formulate creative solutions for the future, the “Drug Prevention Forum” to enhance health awareness among youth, and the “Bard Aleihim” initiative to enhance positive social interaction, in addition to hosting the Gulf Youth Day events that brought together an elite group of Gulf youth.

She added that the Council achieved a 97.3% achievement rate for the strategic plan, with the participation of 29 strategic partners from ministries, government departments and private institutions, explaining that 21 youth projects were supported, which reflects the Council’s commitment to empowering youth and motivating them to innovate.
The happiness rate of beneficiaries of the initiatives reached 91.30%, while the reduction rate of project costs reached 39.45%, which reflects the efficiency of planning and achievement, while 6 members participated in global initiatives, which contributed to representing the emirate’s youth at the international level.
