Announcing the dates and stadiums for the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia

The Asian Football Confederation announced today the dates and stadiums for the next edition of the 2027 Asian Cup, which will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027, with the participation of 24 teams.
According to the Asian Confederation, the tournament will be held in 3 Saudi cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Khobar.

The Asian Confederation confirmed that the announcement of the details of the event came on the occasion of the start of the countdown to the launch of the 19th edition of the most important football tournament on the continent.
He explained that the tournament will be held in 5 stadiums in Riyadh, namely King Fahd International Stadium, King Saud University Stadium, Imam Muhammad bin Saud University Stadium, Kingdom Arena Stadium, and Al-Shabab Club Stadium.
As for Jeddah, two stadiums have been confirmed: King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, with the construction of a new stadium with modern specifications in Al-Khobar, to complete the infrastructure.
Mariano Araneta Junior, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Asian Cup, who was briefed on the future plans during the committee’s third meeting in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, said that the AFC is committed to improving this tournament with each edition, and that the foundations have been laid to ensure that Saudi Arabia hosts an exceptional tournament in 2027.
Mariano stressed his great confidence in the Saudi Football Federation and the Organizing Committee to rely on their distinguished capabilities in organizing and hospitality, to come out with the event in the best possible way as everyone expects.
It is worth noting that 18 teams have booked their seats in the tournament, while the remaining seats will be determined through the final round of qualifiers, which is scheduled to start next March.
