Dubai Sports Council: Launch of the first press conference for the International Arab Boxing Championship "April 2025"

The Dubai Sports Council announced the organization of the International Arab Boxing Championship, which will be held on April 30, 2025, at the Coca-Cola Arena, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, with the participation of an elite group of boxers from 14 countries from different continents of the world.

This came during the press conference held at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, during which Mr. Ali Omar, Director of the Sports Events Department, Dr. Al Hadi Al Sudairy, President of the International Arab Boxing Federation, and Mr. Hussein Hammou, Director of the Middle East Company organizing the event, spoke.

Mr. Ali Omar said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the International Arab Boxing Federation in organizing this event, as the Dubai Sports Council seeks to enhance the partnership between the private and public sectors of various local and international institutions and federations. We are pleased to announce this championship, which Dubai is hosting for the first time. The Dubai Sports Council is also keen to organize and host many diverse international championships in various sports and to search for what is new in each sport, as the Council organizes more than 450 diverse sports events throughout the year. We are certain that we will have an exceptional championship that supports the environment and sustainability, and will witness record numbers recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. We wish success to all participants in this major event.”

Dr. Al Hadi Al Sudairy thanked the Dubai Sports Council for its continuous support for the International Arab Boxing Federation.


The tournament organizer, Miss Middle East, and the sponsor, NB North, published the tournament program, which includes 16 fights between men and women, led by world boxing champions Dejany Fionnet, Matthew Dalman, Harris Pepper, Nikola Todorovic, and other boxers from 14 countries from different continents of the world: France, Brazil, Italy, Serbia, Bosnia, Armenia, Tunisia, Germany, Belarus, Norway, Algeria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain. Boxers compete in 8 different weights for men and women, as men compete in weights of 60, 66, 72, 76, 82, and 85 kilograms, while women compete in weights of 60 and 63 kilograms.

In this context, Mr. Hussein Hammou, Director of Middle East Company, thanked the Dubai Sports Council for the support and hosting of the press conference, and said: We seek to organize a distinguished event that befits the status of Dubai and will be organized annually, and will support sustainable energy, based on our social responsibility and our commitment to protecting the environment and within the framework of government directives to support sustainability, and this event will be the largest of its kind.


For his part, the official spokesman for the presidency of the International Federation of Arab Boxing, "Media figure Hussam Abdullah Al Attia", stated the participation of many journalists, media professionals, and Arab, African, Asian and European media outlets to broadcast and broadcast the championship events through many satellite channels and international sports channels.
