The 36th edition of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic Golf Championship concludes on Sunday, with the fourth and final round being held at the Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club, bringing the curtain down on the fierce competition that brings together 126 of the world’s best players competing for $9 million in prize money, with the winner receiving $1.530 million and the honor of lifting the famous “Dallah Cup.”

The competition seems even at the end of the third round held on Saturday, in which New Zealander Daniel Hillier managed to be at the top of the standings with a score of 13 strokes under par, closely followed by Englishman Tyrrell Hatton, winner of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2021, with a score of 12 strokes in second place.

With the players who previously won the title away, we will be on a date with the crowning of a new champion, as the task seems very difficult with Rory McIlroy in twelfth place, after the Northern Irishman achieved 6 strokes under par at the end of the third round, despite his improvement in this round in particular, in which he achieved his best numbers with three strokes under par.

For his part, the Moroccan Adam Brisno continued his brave adventure among the elite international professional players, after he finished the third round with a score equal to par with a total of 72 strokes, to currently be ranked 39th with a score of two strokes under par.

The 20-year-old Moroccan is achieving encouraging levels for a player who is still in the amateur category, as he seeks to achieve the best possible Arab result in one of the Rolex Elite Series tournaments.

The coronation ceremony will be held after the end of the fourth and final round, to hand over the winner the Dallah Cup, which is considered one of the most famous in golf and the world of sports in general, and one of the ten largest sports cups in the world, with its size reaching 108 cm in height, and weighing 15 kg, and made of silver.

The tournament will witness the holding of many accompanying events in the tournament village, noting that all tickets for the final day have been fully booked with fans eager to follow the strongest golf stars in the world on the Majlis course, and live the entertainment atmosphere that suits all family members, in a new success added to the tournaments and sporting events held in Dubai.
