In the presence of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed, the Higher Colleges of Technology celebrate the graduation of the 2024 batch

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Martyrs' Families, witnessed the Higher Colleges of Technology's celebration of the graduation of the 2024 batch of distinguished students, under the slogan "Empowering Minds...Creating the Future", with a total of 329 male and female graduates.

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan handed over certificates to the graduates, then took a commemorative photo with them, and congratulated them on their academic excellence and their keenness to compete in the race for excellence. His Highness wished them success in their professional lives, and directed them to always make excellence their goal, urging them to harness their capabilities to serve their community and participate in the development of their country. His Highness affirmed the leadership's confidence in them, because they are the wealth, energy and hope for the future.

His Highness pointed out that in an era characterized by rapid transformations driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of artificial intelligence and the new global economy, the importance of the Higher Colleges of Technology emerges as one of the main pillars that support the higher education system and graduate the competencies needed to work in various sectors in the country.

His Highness praised its pivotal role in developing students' skills, through its integrated educational environment directly linked to the requirements of the labor market.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, President of the Higher Colleges of Technology, His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan, Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology, and a number of dignitaries and officials.

His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi expressed his pride in the graduates' efforts and excellence, stressing that these achievements were made as a result of the directives of the wise leadership and its continuous support for the Higher Colleges of Technology programs that aim to develop education and prepare its graduates to contribute effectively to building the future and serving the nation.

His Excellency revealed the success of the Higher Colleges of Technology in employing 2,600 graduates of the 2022-2023 batch, at a rate of 86%, with the support of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFES), and the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi and Dubai achieving the highest rate of graduate employment at more than 90%.

His Excellency praised the results of implementing the "Vocational Apprenticeship" program, which provides vocational training for students in private sector institutions, after it was integrated into 30 bachelor's and diploma programs to constitute 25% of the educational curriculum.
