Nasser Al-Attiyah crowned the Qatar International Rally 2025 title

Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah was crowned today, Saturday, the Qatar International Rally title in the second round of the Middle East Rally Championship on the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Qatar Rally.A

Al-Attiyah finished the six stages of the day in the 46th edition of the Qatar International Rally, which constitutes the second round of the 45th edition of the Middle East Rally Championship for the 2025 season, at the top of the overall standings.

The 19-time Middle East Rally Champion, accompanied by his Spanish co-driver Candido Carrera in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2, recorded a time of 1:00:40.5 hours in the second day’s stages, which consisted of three special speed stages that were repeated twice, finishing 1:47.3 minutes ahead of his closest competitor, compatriot Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, the regional champion, accompanied by his Irish co-driver Lorcan Moore in a Citroen C3 Rally 2, who came in second place with a time of 1:02:27.8 hours.
