Saudi Arabia enters the Guinness Book of World Records and crowns the winners of the Drone World Cup

The Drone Racing World Cup competitions concluded today in the capital, Riyadh, sponsored by the "Riyadh Season", and organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and the International Air Sports Federation, with the participation of more than 140 pilots.

The last day of the competition witnessed the qualification of 64 competitors, while the first three places were won by: Korean player Minchan Kim in first place and the title of the Drone Racing World Cup in the Riyadh version and a prize of 375,000 riyals, while second place went to French Killian Rousseau and a prize of 285,000 riyals, and Joaquin Ybanez from the United States won third place and a prize of 185,000 riyals.

The Riyadh version of the Drone Racing World Cup was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records; as the largest version in terms of the number of participating countries, with more than 50 countries.
The ceremony witnessed a raffle on the sidelines of valuable prizes for visitors and attendees.
It is worth noting that the Drone Racing World Cup competitions were launched in 2016, and the Saudi version is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa.
