Technical glitch disrupts Meta Quest glasses for weeks

Meta faces a technical crisis: Quest virtual reality glasses are out of service due to a software update.
According to reports, the problem arose as a result of an error in updating the software for operating these glasses specialized in virtual reality technologies.
Meta said in a statement reported by the reports that it is working hard on a new update to address the glitch that affected multiple versions of virtual reality glasses, including: Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest 3S.

The American company published a warning note on the technical support page for Quest glasses on its website, indicating that there is a problem with the software update.
Meta confirmed that it is making intensive efforts to solve this problem that has affected a large number of its users, stressing that it is actively working to find a comprehensive solution that ensures that the glasses return to working efficiently for all users.
For their part, a number of Quest glasses users expressed that they received messages from Meta stating that it will provide them with an electronic support service, in addition to the necessary updates.
Users reported that the company told them in its messages that it would consider compensating those affected by the problem, including replacing the affected glasses even if they were out of warranty, in an attempt to mitigate the damage to users of these devices. The reports added that the update that Meta promised to fix the malfunction that affected its virtual reality glasses has not yet been released.
