The Kingdom of Bahrain wins the bid to host the 17th edition of the Arab Games 2031

The Kingdom of Bahrain won the bid to host the 17th edition of the Arab Games in 2031, while Jordan will host the 18th edition in 2035.
This came during the 22nd General Assembly meeting of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees, which was held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Abdelaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Union of Arab Olympic Committees.

The Olympic Committee was represented at the meeting by Board Member, Director of the Department of International and Arab Relations and Olympic Solidarity Fejir Jassim and Executive Director of Operations Mr. Ahmed Abdel Ghaffar.
During the meeting, a report on the 15th Arab Games held in Algeria 2023 and a report on the Arab Women's Club Games held in Sharjah from February 2-12, 2024 were reviewed.
The meeting also approved the annual report of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees 2023, ratified the financial statements and the independent auditor's report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, and contracted with Pure Company to prepare the Union's strategy.
