UAE Cycling Team Wins 28 Medals at the Conclusion of the "Arab Track"

The UAE National Cycling Team concluded its journey in the Arab Track Championship, by winning 28 colored medals, during the competitions held in Egypt.
The UAE Cycling Team concluded its participation in the Arab Track Championship, which concluded yesterday evening, Saturday, in Cairo, by winning 28 colored medals, including 8 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze, with the participation of more than 150 male and female players, representing 8 Arab countries.

11 medals on the last day
The national team succeeded, during the last day of the championship, in winning 11 colored medals, including two gold for Mohammed Al-Mutaiwee and Abdullah Jassim, in the omnium and scratch races, led by the national team captain Ahmed Al-Mansouri, who participated in the two races and won two bronze medals.
4 Silvers
The team also succeeded in adding 4 silvers through Safia Al Sayegh in the individual pursuit, Ahmed Al Mansouri and Saif Mayouf in the Madison race for adults, and Youssef Amiri and Khaled Al Nuaimi in the Madison race for youth, while Youssef Amiri won a silver in the individual pursuit.
3 Bronzes for the Senior Team
The Senior Team added a bronze in the team sprint race, as well as a bronze in the team sprint for youth, and a bronze for Zahra Hussein in the individual pursuit.
Discovering Talents for Upcoming Championships
Mansour Bu Osaiba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Cycling Federation and Head of the National Teams Committee, stressed the importance of the results achieved by the UAE team in the championship, pointing out that every Arab championship in which the team participates, seeks to discover new cyclists who will be an addition to the team in the upcoming Arab and continental championships.
