With the participation of 16 teams .. the opening of the Khalid bin Tanaf Football Championship

The stadiums of Bani Yas Club in Al Shamkha witnessed the opening of the Khalid bin Tanaf Al Menhali Football Championship, which is held with the participation of 16 teams. The first day witnessed 6 matches, amidst a remarkable public presence.

The tournament competitions were attended by Khalid bin Tanaf Al Menhali, officials of the Bani Yas Football Club administration, and a number of former players. A number of community and entertainment events were held on the sidelines of the annual Ramadan sports event.

On the first day, the Baynouna team defeated Tawazun 5/2, Al Gharbia defeated Al Orobi 3/2, and Fakhr Al Fujairah defeated Al Mokhadrameen 6/3. The tournament continues for 10 days during the month of Ramadan.

The first day witnessed the brilliance of the Baynouna and Al Gharbia teams, who are active in the UAE Second Division League, in addition to Fakhr Al Fujairah, who achieved victory in their first appearance in the tournament.
