The Asian Chess Federation announced that the Asian Individual Chess Championship will be held at the Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club from May 6 to 15, with the participation of 56 countries.

Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Wahshi, CEO of the Asian Chess Federation, member of the Advisory Council of the International Chess Federation, and Chairman of the Event Marketing Committee, confirmed that the major continental event in Al Ain city consolidates the country's position and its prestigious reputation in hosting and organizing sporting events, according to best practices.
He pointed to the directives of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Shakhbut Al Nahyan, President of the Asian Federation, President of Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club, to provide all necessary facilities to make the tournament a success and ensure its distinguished exit, with the participation of elite champions and stars of the game worldwide.
The qualifying event for the 2025 World Cup Finals will witness the participation of elite chess masters and champions, competing for numerous prizes, in addition to enhancing their chances of qualifying for the Chess World Cup.
