Conclusion of the Mohammed bin Zayed University Humanities Competition

In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, the third edition of the Holy Quran Competition, organized by the College of Islamic Studies, concluded. The competition, which featured the participation of more than 100 male and female students from various universities across the country, included four levels.

Adam Issa Abdullah from Al Qasimia University won first place in the first level, for memorizing the entire Holy Quran with Tajweed. Masoud Noor Ahmed Mohammed from Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities and Wadi Salie from Al Qasimia University won second place. Ayman Al Sharifi Al Idrisi from Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities won third place.


In the second level, for memorizing half of the Quran with Tajweed, in the national student category, contestant Ibrahim Muammar Ali Banbila from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities took first place, and Abdullah Mohammed Al Qaidi from the same university took second place. In the same level, designated for international students, first place was taken by Nasser Al Din Ibrahim from Al Qasimia University, second place was taken by Hajar Al Marabet from the same university, and third place was taken by Hiba Hassan from Al Wasl University.

The third level, for memorizing five parts of the Quran, was held by Yousef Al Balushi from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and second place was taken by Safia Ali Salem from the same university.


In the fourth level, designated for voice and performance, contestant Mofakher Razaq from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities took first place, Anas Rashid from Al Qasimia University took second place, and Mohammed Abdul Latif Al Hammadi from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities took third place.


It is worth noting that the competition went through four elimination stages, supervised by specialized judging committees from participating universities and the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
