TRENDS Research & Advisory Center Dialogue Session

His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, emphasized the importance of scientific research in building a sustainable economy and strengthening the innovation ecosystem in the UAE.

He emphasized the role of training and development in empowering youth to become future leaders.

This came during a dialogue session held during His Excellency's visit to TRENDS Research & Advisory. A number of researchers from the center participated in the session, which addressed prospects for joint cooperation and the role of scientific research in supporting economic development and enhancing the UAE's global competitiveness.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS, welcomed His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and praised his efforts in promoting foreign trade and innovation. He also provided an overview of the center, explaining that it is a leading research platform that provides scientific and forward-looking studies that support visions, decisions, and academics in various fields.

During the session, His Excellency Dr. Al Zeyoudi reviewed ways to develop partnerships between research institutions and government agencies, emphasizing that innovation and continuous training are essential elements in achieving the UAE's vision for the future. He also stressed the importance of exchanging knowledge and expertise to ensure continued progress and leadership across various sectors.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency expressed his appreciation for TRENDS' role in providing research and studies that keep pace with global transformations, affirming his support for the center's initiatives to promote scientific research and innovation as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development.
