Celebrating the Announcement of the Winners of the Future Science Challenge Competition

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences celebrated remotely the announcement of the winners of the Future Science Challenge Competition in its fourth season.


The competition activities were launched on September 5 under the title “Stimulating Positive Change in Society” to provide an opportunity for all talented Arab students to showcase their talents in the field of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. The evaluation process was carried out by a jury that included 17 university professors specializing in artificial intelligence and engineering specializations related to the competition topics, as well as experts and engineers in the field of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.

In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, said that the scope of participation in the competition has expanded to include students from sister Arab countries thanks to the effective cooperation of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), which has given this scientific competition an Arab dimension through which it contributes to enhancing common visions towards preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with modern technological developments and contributing to building the Arab future.


Al Qatami added that the competition in its fourth season was more than just a competition, but rather it was manifested as a platform for creativity, an environment for learning, and a bridge for scientific and cultural communication. The number of participants reached more than 500 teams that included 1278 male and female students from various ministries, authorities, educational centers and schools in the Arab world, which reflected a passion in the educational field to unleash latent creative energies and highlight the level of technical awareness and innovative skills among our students.


His Excellency stressed that the ideas and innovations presented by the winners of the Future Science Challenge competition call for optimism for a bright Arab future full of achievements.


The organizers of the competition explained that the fourth season of the competition achieved a distinguished achievement with the participation of 501 teams, including 1278 male and female students representing 12 Arab countries and 17 entities concerned with sponsoring the gifted, while the number of participating local educational institutions reached 57 schools and centers, and the number of participating Arab educational institutions reached 257 schools and centers.
