The Arabic Language Educational Center for the Gulf States and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation participate in the "Cairo International Book Fair"

The Arabic Language Educational Center for the Gulf States, headquartered in the Emirate of Sharjah, is participating in the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, in its (56) session, which is organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority, where the events are held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, during the period from January 23 to February 5.
"A new publication as a reference framework for teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages"
The Cairo International Book Fair is one of the largest and most important cultural exhibitions in the Arab world, and is held annually in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

This exhibition is a major event in the field of books and publishing, as it displays the latest editions of books in various fields such as literature, philosophy, history, science, and others.

The participation of the publications of the Educational Center for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States within the office’s pavilion to display a group of publications in the field of Arabic language that are important in the field of teaching and learning Arabic, the reference framework for teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages: authorship, education and training, which is the first integrated reference framework in the world in the field of teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages, in addition to a study on developing electronic reading skills for secondary school students, and a reference framework for employing technology in teaching and learning Arabic, as well as 5 publications of the Seventh International Arabic Language Conference in Sharjah.
In this context, the Dubai International Writing Program, affiliated with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, is organizing during its participation in the Cairo International Book Fair two workshops: “Scientific Translation” and “Scientific Article”, which aim to encourage talented youth to write and prepare generations of researchers and innovators in the Arab world.

Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, stressed that these workshops aim to contribute to bridging the gap between promising youth capabilities and the requirements of the academic and research labor market, as they seek to build an integrated system that promotes a culture of scientific excellence and provides youth with professional academic writing tools and accurate translation skills, which are the gateway to communication between the global scientific community and Arabic content.
