Seas and oceans constitute the largest and most important part of the areas covering the globe, as they constitute about 71% of the surface area of ​​the globe, and cover about 50 to 80 percent of life forms on the planet.

Billions of people depend on the oceans as a major source of food and economy, as about 60 percent of the world's population lives within 100 kilometers of the coast, as it contributes significantly to the global economy with an estimated amount of about 1.5 trillion US dollars annually, and despite being the largest part of the globe, 80 percent of the oceans and seas have not been mapped or have not yet been discovered.

The world of the seas is a blessing from Allah to us. Allah the Almighty says: {And it is He who has subjected the sea so that you may eat from it tender meat and extract from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plying through it, and that you may seek of His bounty; perhaps you will be grateful.} Therefore, Allah the Almighty has favored us by creating for us the seas and the blessings and wonders in them, so that we may use them for our benefit and advantage, so that we may satisfy our hunger by eating the fish and many types of good food in these seas, and we use them to serve us in moving between countries, by inspiring us to build ships and steamers.

God has guided us to this, and He has inherited the navigation of the seas from our master Noah, peace be upon him, who was the first to ride ships and learn how to make them. We move from one place to another across the seas and their world in search of livelihood, work and goodness. God Almighty has also honored us by making pearls and coral in the world of the seas, which we adorn ourselves with, and many other blessings and goodness that God Almighty has placed in the world of the endless seas. It is a world full of strange and amazing wonders that are fascinating to the human mind.

It is a vast world rich in different forms of life that people may not know much about, especially since the seas have a huge biodiversity. If you entered the world of the seas one day, you would think that you were on another planet far from Earth. The world of animals in the depths of the seas is very strange, as some of them live in huge groups, some live alone, some are small and cute, and others are large and predatory, which means that the world of the seas and oceans is no less active and exciting than the world of land, and it is also surprising that the world of the seas is filled with amazing varieties of marine plants with beautiful dazzling colors.

There are thousands, even millions of amazing creatures and stones in the seas that if we saw them, our minds would remain drawn to them for the rest of our lives, as they contain whales, sharks, pearl oysters, colorful coral, dolphins, starfish, octopuses, colorful fish, and sea turtles of different shapes and colors.

The beauty of the marine world is similar to the beauty of the sky studded with stars and planets, especially since it is a diverse world full of colors. No matter how much a person tries to discover this world, he will not be able to know all the information related to it. Therefore, the moral duty requires preserving this beautiful world from any pollution or harm, so that it remains a beautiful, living world.
